Workshop on the Application of GIS for Land Development Planning was held by Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund and National Central University. A total of 19 members went to LSB for a meeting to understand the status of land information affairs in Taiwan on Aug 4, 2006. The chairman of this meeting was Mr. Hsiao, the director of the LSB. The stuff of LSB, Mr. Hu, Mr. Lin and Ms. Lee briefed the visitors about “GIS relative projects” ,”Cadastral Data Process & Management System “, and “e-GPS system” and also exchanged opinions with each other. After meeting, the visitors visited the history exhibition room of LSB and calibration of electric distance measurement instruments lot. All visitors were very satisfied with the itinerary and classes that LSB arranged.
