Twenty-eight participants of the Workshop on Environmental Monitoring and Natural Disaster Management held by the Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research, National Central University and the International Cooperation and Development Fund visited this Bureau on July 6th 2007. A schedule of visiting trip including introduction of this Bureau, 2 briefs on the topics referring to the businesses and technologies which adopted in the field of land surveying, and touring to exhibition room, electric distance measurement instrument calibration site and cadastral map storage was arranged. Topics such as applications of remote sensing data for rescuing functions during natural disaster were raised and discussed ardently. All participants coming from 22 countries left with deep impression to the effort this Bureau have done on surveying and with contentment to the schedule as well.
