The exhibition that LSB and NSTM hold the Weights and Measures – Standardizing Modern Society was opened on July 20th. Mr. Hou, Ho-Shong (the vice minister of MOEA3), Mr. Chen, Xun-Xiang (Deputy Director-general of NSTM), Mr. Chen, Jay-San (the director of BSMI4), Mr. Duan, Jia-Rui (the director of CMS5,ITRI6), and Mr. Lin, Yen-Shan (the director of LSB) co-administered the ceremony. About 150 persons attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony clicked.
There are six subjects in the exhibition about “What to Measure ? ”,”Who to Measure ? ”, ”How to Measure ? ”,”Daily Measure”, ”Measure Yourself” and “Measure Taiwan”. The LSB introduces the cadastral surveying, centimeter-order e-GPS positioning technique, a large size map of Taiwan (15m×6m) …, etc.
LSB exhibited the 3D Laser Scanner and build a 3D model in the opening ceremony. Through this exhibition let everyone realize the new surveying technique.
