To lead governmental organizations into the National Information & Communication Management System is one of important aims for the National Information Security Taskforce, Executive Yuan. The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC) is classified in B group. An ad hoc team was organized in December 2006 to supervise the relative leading-in works. The ISMS of NLSC was achieved on October 19, 2007 and Lin Yuan-Shan, the Director of the NLSC, promulgated the starting of its operation.
