22 participants of the seminar on Geographic Information System and Land Management, leaded by Mr. Juan Ma, the Chief of Administration and Counseling Division, International Center for Land Policy Studies and Training, visited National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior on May 11th, 2009. The Center presents an English briefing on “Using GIS technology on Land Surveying”. The visitors also visited the cadastral map storage of the NLSC. Through the two-way communication, the visitors from 21 countries understand the development of surveying and mapping technology of the ROC and the business of the NLSC. This visit improves the international communication on surveying and mapping and effectively promotes the international image of the ROC.
