The manager of International Cooperation and Development Fund, Regine Liu, and the professor of Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research National Central University, Ji-Fan Cheng, lead 14 participants of Workshop on Natural Disaster Management and Environment Sustainable Development to visit National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior on June 12th, 2009.
The Center provides visitors for English briefing services on “Introduction of National Land Surveying and Mapping Center”, and “Using GIS technology on Land Surveying”, demonstrates “Survey Geospatial Services System” and “Integration and Circulation System of Land Surveying Information”.
The visit promotes the understanding of participants from 12 countries about the development of surveying and mapping technology of ROC, and the business of the National Land Surveying and Mapping Center. This visit with an exchange of opinions effectively promotes international surveying and mapping business, and enhances international image of ROC.
