In order to achieve gender equality, NLSC invited Dr. Sheu, Yea-Huey (Associate Professor, Department of Social Work and Social Policy, National Chi Nan University) to give a lecture about gender mainstreaming and gender image in Taiwan on 12 Aug 2009. In Total 112 officers from ‘Land Consolidation Engineering Bureau, Ministry of the Interior’,’ Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan’,‘National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior’ etc. attended this lecture. It raised all participants great consciousness of gender equality and to recognize the importance to promote gender mainstreaming in public sector.
