Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (Japan) pays a visit to National Land Surveying and Mapping Center

Chung-Ho Wang, and Chi-Ching Liu, the doctors of Institute of earth sciences for Academia Sinica, took 8 scholars of Research Institute for Humanity and Nature
as well as Kyoto University to visit National Land Surveying and Mapping Center, Ministry of the Interior on March 16th, 2010.
The purpose of the visit is to learn of disaster response of Taiwan and effort about land recovery.
The center provided visitors two briefing services on “Business of the Control Survey” and “Geographic Data Supply for Disaster Reduction”. That not only helps visitors to realize what NLSC do in disaster prevention and emergency aid , but also enhances international image of Taiwan.
