A certificate conferral ceremony for the NLSC’s Surveying Instrument Calibration Laboratory (SICL) passes the certification of Taiwan Accreditation Foundation

In order to enhance the quality of mapping results and meet the relevant provisions of Land Surveying and Mapping Act, National Land Surveying and Mapping Center(NLSC)established 「Survey Instrument Calibration Laboratory」 in 2008. The main goal is to build a quality management system and a serial of the operating procedures for instrument calibration, so that it could meet the requirements of international certification standard ISO/ IEC 17025.NLSC proposed the application for certification of calibration laboratory to the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation(TAF) in November 2009. TAF officers came to the laboratory to evaluate on January 20, 2010. The laboratory passed the certification on March 10, 2010. TAF Chairman Chen and CEO Chou issued the certificate on March 24,2010 in NLSC, and Director Lin was on behalf of NLSC to accept the certificate .
