For the promotion of surveying and mapping technique, Dr. Ming-jer Huang, the Commanding Officer of the Naval Meteorological and Oceanographic Office, was invited to make speech in the National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC) on January 19, 2011. The topic was “The Development of Geospatial Information Framework for Meteorological and Oceanographic Services”. Officials of Water Resources Agency, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and personnel of the NLSC joined to listen to the speech. Topics related to the mutual exchange of experience, technique, and information among governmental units and others were raised and discussed after the speech.
