The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC) has completed the production of Common Version Electronic Map (CVEM) covering whole Taiwan. In order to promote CVEM, the NLSC developed a portal site ( https://www.nlsc.gov.tw/Home/MakePage/841?level=841 ) to introduce mapping methods, accuracy and status. A CVEM query platform ( https://www.nlsc.gov.tw/Home/MakePage/841?level=841/gis ) provides the options to query by using input landmark, road name, doorplate, or map sheet positioning. The display funtions of aerial orthophoto, the Google street view, and the KML map overlap functions are also opened to public.You’re welcome to try it out.
