The latest 2022 3D road models are now available.

In order to comply the newest National Geographic Information System (NGIS) policies of National Development Council, the 3D road models have been built since 2020 by the National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC) to upgrade the 2D national map to 3D. The 3D road models were constructed by the latest street maps from Taiwan e-Map and digital terrain model (DTM). The attributes include road centerlines extracted from the Taiwan e-Map, and road section codes formulated by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC). The elevation information also refer to road as-built drawings or the measurements of mobile survey vehicles and aerial stereo mapping. For more information of updating scopes of each Year and limitations of 3D road model, please refer to Taiwan 3D Map Service website. The aforementioned physical data can be applied for free. For more applications, new 3D road centerlines and 3D intersection points are released 【include national highway, expressway and municipalities and cities (counties) roads】. The 3D road polygons are available for browsing on Taiwan 3D Map Service website. The web service (OGC I3S and 3D Tiles format only) can be accessed now.
