The Surveying Instrument Calibration Laboratory of NLSC has passed the extension authentication by TAF

The Surveying Instrument Calibration Laboratory (SICL) of National Land Surveying and Mapping Center (NLSC) applied for the extension authentication to the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF), and was assessed by the TAF on December 16、17、21 and 22, 2021.

On March 7, 2022 TAF announced that the SICL passed the extension authentication and the certificate will be valid until March 9, 2025. In addition to the original 「Electronic Distance Measurement」, 「Theodolite」, 「Global Position System Receiver」,「Airborne Photogrammetry Camera」,「Small Format Airborne Camera」, 「e-GNSS rover receiver」 and 「Airborne Lidar」 calibration items, the new calibration items including 「Terrestrial Laser Scanner」 and 「Mobile Lidar」 were granted the credit as well. These new items are the only calibration service in Taiwan and the first to pass the TAF certification.

The NLSC will continue to provide high-quality instrument calibration services in accordance with the International Calibration Laboratory Certification Standards ISO/IEC 17025 and TAF regulations.
