Planning, supervising and evaluation of survey implementation. Compiling regulations on survey industry and survey personnel.
Formulation of surveying and mapping policy. Compiling statistics of survey results.
Survey service exchange with foreign countries. Conducting Education and training of survey personnel.
Developing rules & regulations regarding the NLSC’s operation and management & maintenance of database. Planning, promoting and evaluation of survey technology research and development.
Planning and implementing for calibration of survey instruments. Setup, maintain and manage horizontal control network.
Vertical survey on level origin and tide gauge benchmark. Development of laws and regulations on control survey system.
Planning, implementation, operation, maintenance and management of real-time kinematic positioning system. Setup, maintain and manage vertical control network.
Setup, maintain and manage gravity control network. Supervising survey results review and document management.
Survey markers repairing, moving and land management. Planning, promoting, supervising and inspecting cross-county (-city, or -municipal) control network densification survey projects.

Cadastral Survey Section
Duties Duties
Developing systems and laws & regulations for cadastral survey. Processing boundary survey designated by judicial or prosecuting organs.
Planning, promoting, supervising and evaluating of digitized analog cadastral maps overlaid with urban planning topographic maps. Planning, promoting, supervising and inspecting cross-county (-city, or -municipal) cadastral survey projects.
Planning, promoting, supervising and inspecting of unregistered land survey. Planning, promoting, supervising and inspecting policy-based cadastral survey.
Formulation of cadastral resurvey plan. Planning and executing cadastral resurveys.
Cleaning, repairing and connecting survey for urban planning pillar in the areas of cadastral resurveys. Developing systems, laws & regulations and plans for cadastral resurveys.

Basic Map Mapping Section

Planning, implementing and results management & maintenance of national land use investigation. Other services related to basic map mapping.

 

Applied Map Mapping Section
Duties Duties
Planning of hydrographic survey. Establishment and result management & maintenance of national digital topographic model.
Surveying, mapping and result management & maintenance of base chart of marine area. Surveying, mapping and result management & maintenance of intertidal zone topographic maps.
Surveying, mapping and result management & maintenance of electronic navigational charts. Other services related to applied map mapping.

 

Map Supply and Management Section
Duties Duties
Planning, implementation, and management & maintenance of the integrated information distribution system of national land surveying and mapping information. Planning, implementation, management & maintenance, and value-added application of the national land surveying and mapping database.
Planning, implementation and maintenance of surveying Knowledge database. Distribution and provisioning of national land surveying and mapping information.
Planning, implementing, reporting and management of NLSC’s information security policy and protection mechanism. Planning, allocating, maintenance and management of NLSC’s information devices and application systems.
Planning, promoting, supervising and evaluating of NLSC’s information operation. Other services related to map supply and management.

 

Map Application and Promoting Section

Application and promotion of national surveying and mapping results. Planning, construction, maintenance and operation of national surveying and mapping results web service.
Application and promotion of 3D national base map. Planning, construction, maintenance and operation of 3D national base map web service.
