International Cadastral Symposium stated in 1998 and Taiwan was the first host Country. To promote international exchange of experiences, Japanese and Korean representatives were invited to participate in this Symposium. Subsequently this symposium was held once every 2years and Taiwan, Japan and Korea were the hosting country in turns. The Symposiums were held by Taiwan as follows:

●The 10th International Cadastral Symposium held in Taichung, Taiwan (October 20,2016)

●The 7th International Cadastral Symposium held in Taipei, Taiwan (November9-11,2010)

●The 4th International Cadastral Symposium held in Tainan, Taiwan (June8-10,2004)

●The 1st International Cadastral Symposium held in Taichung, Taiwan (November25-26,1998)
